I came to Japan to learn Japanese design techniques and apply them in Myanmar.I had studied Japanese in Myanmar for about 6 months, but it was not enough to live and work in Japan, so I decided to attend the YWCA evening course. The evening course starts from 19:00 to 20:30, so you can go to the class after work on weekdays .There are a few students in this class,so the teachers are friendly and also pay attention to each students . The students are enjoying to learn japanese because of good atmosphere of the class. Taking mini-speech and role-play classes can improve your presentation skills and you will feel more confident in speaking Japanese at work. After a mini-speech, it is fun to know my Japanese level by listening to the opinions of teachers and classmates those are from different nation. The most fun time is that I can learn Japanese culture, life and way of thinking from reading comprehension classes. I highly recommend YWCA if you are interested in learning Japanese. YWCA is one of the best places to learn Japanese, should not be miss.

After I graduated from graduate school in Taiwan. I only have approximately five months of study for Japanese before I came to Osaka for work. When I started to work with my Japanese colleagues, I felt a huge language barrier between me and my colleagues. After expressing the issue with my employer, they decided to support me in attending classes in language school. That’s when I find out about YWCA and start taking classes here after work. YWCA is the only language school that offers evening classes in Osaka city. The best part is I get to work during the day, and take classes in the evening after work. After my first trial class, I was deeply attracted by the teaching style of the facility. With teachers giving detailed explanations, friendly interaction between classmates, and an enjoyable/joyous learning environment. I left the building feeling impressed. Although the lesson was only 90 minutes long, their classes covered listening, reading, writing and speaking skills. What differentiates YWCA from other schools, was the chance to fully understand the concept and apply Japanese in daily lives. So far, I’ve been learning Japanese for two years. If there is a chance for me to choose again. I still will choose YWCA in a heartbeat.
